A group of writers and illustrators gathered for an inspiring, informative workshop on the topic: “So You Published Your First Book, What’s Next?” held at the University of the Incarnate Word on July 27, 2019. SCBWI SWTX Regional Advisor, Lupe Ruiz-Flores, conducted the workshop. There was back-and-forth discussion and questions and answers during the lively session. Many thanks to all who attended, both SCBWI members and non-members.

This workshop will focus on what to do once your book is published, how to set up book launches, reviews, and other ways to promote your book. Also, we’ll cover how to inspire, motivate, and connect with students during a school visit. We’ll talk about contacting schools and how much to charge. Join us! You don’t have to be a SCBWI member to attend.
